Trump & China Clash, Crypto Skyrockets, Oil over $100 a Barrel
Trade, tariffs, artificial intelligence, technology restrictions, critical minerals, agriculture and even a possible expansion of Chinese purchases of Boeing aircraft are all on the radar. In this episode, we look at the stocks that could react to those headlines and, more importantly, how traders can prepare without trying to predict what Trump or Xi will actually announce.
Then we turn to Robinhood and one of the biggest potential changes to hit the U.S. stock market in years: tokenized stocks. The SEC has opened the door to blockchain-based trading of tokenized U.S. securities, potentially moving traditional stocks toward a world with blockchain settlement, longer trading hours and fewer intermediaries. Robinhood and Coinbase are two obvious names to watch — but a great story doesn’t automatically make a great trade. We break down how we separate the news from the actual setup. Next: oil above $100. What happens when rapidly rising energy prices ripple through the rest of the market? We look at both sides of the trade, from Exxon, Chevron and Occidental to airlines like Delta, United and American. Higher oil prices can affect much more than energy stocks — they can influence inflation, interest rates, transportation costs and ultimately valuations across the broader market. From there, we go directly to the charts. We’ll use Seasonax to examine UAL, USO and HOOD, then walk through the Ignition methodology and identify the technical conditions we’re looking for before putting capital to work. Moving averages, MACD, DMI, Stoch RSI and volume all come together to answer one question: is the market actually confirming the story? In the second half of the show, we shift from trading to tax and business structure with a deep dive into the good AND bad of the C-Corporation. Why does the C-Corp get such a bad reputation? When does the 21% corporate tax rate matter? What about double taxation, Section 1202 QSBS, asset protection, operating LLCs, holding companies and irrevocable trusts? The key idea: stop expecting one entity to do every job. We’ll also answer questions about profitable S-Corporations, QSBS qualification, getting money out of a C-Corp, and structuring a business that could eventually sell for $10 million, $20 million or more.
